Addiction tears families apart. Trust erodes. Communication breaks down. Loved ones exhaust themselves trying to help, and somewhere along the way, they lose sight of their own well-being. Family therapy addresses the damage that spreads across every relationship connected to the person using substances. It's not a side benefit of treatment. It's a direct line to better outcomes for everyone involved.
At the Canadian Centre for Addictions, our family and addiction recovery program treats family members as clients in their own right, not just visitors. You'll work with certified addiction counsellors and registered psychotherapists in both individual and group sessions designed to repair what addiction has broken and build new patterns that protect long-term sobriety.
